Details:
| This event celebrates the founding of the first settlement in the Las Vegas Valley in 1855.
1) We will be having a pancake breakfast for $5 a family from 8 a.m till 11 p.m.
2) An opening ceremony by a Boy Scout color guard will kick off a program at 10 a.m. Entertainment will be provided by "Aspen Ridge" a local Bluegrass band. Other local historical groups will also have "walk-around" characters.
3) The Soldiers of the Fort will be present from 9 a.m. till 1 p.m. Our program will feature information on the Mexican-American War and the Mormon Militia. For more information please see www.snlha.org or email jayce921@yahoo.com
